Workshop with the land experts of tomorrow
Each year, LandCam brings together students enrolled in a Master’s degree and PhD programme, whose research topic is related to land. The aim is to bring together students working on related or complementary topics to benefit from the support of experienced researchers and professionals in the sector. For the 2020 session, LandCam brought together nearly 25 students from various disciplines such as history, geography and political science, whose works focus on topical themes, such as local development in the era of decentralization, land governance and the church, and women's means of access to land. They received training in research methods and multi-disciplinary approaches, in addition to capacity building on land issues. This gave them a clearer understanding land-related issues from various perspectives.
