Representatives of the selected organisations on the day of the signature in Yaoundé

As part of the third round of the LandCam small grants scheme, we have selected the projects of 4 civil society organisations to undertake activities to strengthen land security and governance in Cameroon. They are:

  • CDJP CODAS Garoua, who plans to support the integrated management of land in the North Region;
  • Avocats sans frontières et humanitaire, who will work on issues surrounding Internally Displaced People and their access to land in the Mifi District;
  • COMAID, who will undertake dialogue and monitoring activities in the context of large-scale land acquisitions in the Littoral Region;
  • ACDEV (Maroua, Extrême Nord), who plans to support access to farmland in the town of Moulvoudaye for Internally Displaced People who fled the Boko Haram crisis.

We signed contracts with the organisations on Monday October 26th 2020. Their work will improve our knowledge on land dynamics and issues in different regions of Cameroon, as well as on the use of various tools and approaches to strengthen land rights.
