On 7 and 8 December 2017, a Parliament-Government forum was held at the National Assembly of Cameroon, organised by the Network of Parliamentarians for Sustainable Management of Forest Ecosystems in Central Africa (REPAR) with the support of CED, RELUFA and IIED as part of the LandCam project, and with the aim of bringing together many stakeholders to facilitate the sharing of land management experiences in Africa. Among the guests were the Minister of Lands, Cadastre and Land Affairs, representatives of the Cameroonian administration, deputies, senators, mayors, traditional chiefs, community representatives, journalists, and national and foreign experts, including from Mali, Burkina Faso and Kenya. This exchange enabled participants to draw recommendations to guide the land reform process currently under way in Cameroon, as well as to strengthen the determination and commitment of stakeholders to implement tools and processes to achieve the reform objectives.
