Allocating land concessions for projects (agro-industrial, mining, infrastructure, logging) in Cameroon affects the rights of communities. Usually, they lose their land, and therefore their livelihoods, which are essential to their survival. Women are even more affected, as they already have precarious rights over the land they use. Victims of the quest for economic development and the allocation of land that allowed them to provide for their families, women in East and South Regions, Cameroon tell us about the impact of mining and agro-industrial activities on their daily lives, and plead for the conservation of the resources their villages still have.
