The International Land Coalition (ILC), which brings together more than 200 CSOs and intergovernmental organizations around land governance, is one of the partners of the LandCam project. From 21-24 November, the ILC Africa land forum and the regional assembly were held in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, under the theme "Strengthening Africa's Land Sector: How Transparency in Land Governance Can Support Development Efforts".

One of the objectives of this major meeting was to build platforms, particularly on women's land rights, and to identify innovations that could strengthen their rights. Discussions also aimed to strengthen the capacity of ILC-supported platforms in francophone countries in monitoring and evaluation in the land sector. To this end, the land data forum provided an opportunity to present the Landex tool, launched by the ILC in early 2019, to promote people-centered land governance monitoring indicators and methodologies.

Other forums were held, such as the one on land justice for women, and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) partners' meeting. The latter is a key partner of LandCam, which supports the activities of the Ocean Department.
